Guyaquil Yacht Club (GYC) was founded on 19 October 1928. The
burgee of GYC, as shown graphically on the club's emblem, is blue
with a white cross.

Salinas Yacht Club (SYC) was founded on 20 October 1940. The
burgee of SYC, as shown graphically on the club's emblem, is
horizontally divided blue-yellow-blue. The burgee is also painted
on the famous SYC
lighthouse.
