The parish of Siete de Octubre is part of Quevedo canton (Los Ríos province).

The flag of Siete de Octubre was adopted on 18 October 2013 following a query
by the Culture and Sports Department of the municipality of Quevedo. The flag
was designed by the Parish Council.
The yellow, blue, and red colours represents Ecuador, while green and white
represent the town of Quevedo. In the middle of the flag is placed an emblem
featuring the public and private institutes located in the parish, especially
Instituto Técnico Superior Siete de Octubre. The trees symbolize those planted
in the 6th Street.
The seven stars represent the parish of Siete de Octubre (lit., 7th of October).
