The canton was formed on 9 August 1944.
We show the flag without the municipal coat of arms, after a
drawing given on the municipal website, but a photograph taken into the
Mayor's office shows the flag with the coat of arms.

The quoted source, the cantonal website, is offline and
archived. In the
original image the flag is shown fluttering, so it is unreliable to derive
from it any positive ratio information. It also shows the flag without the coat
of arms on it, which maybe a reflection of actual use, either partial or total,
or a matter of image inaccuracy due to technical or artistic issues.
