"The flag of the canton is made of three vertical stripes, green on the borders and yellow in the middle. Green symbolizes the hope of better days for the cantons and the fertility of the soil rich in fruits. Yellow represents wealth, knowledge as well as the potential of this productive land and the noble spirit of its sons."
