Helsingør is a city and a seat of the namesake Kommune at the northeastern tip of Zealand. There is a city flag on sale. The flag is white with centred arms as follows: Shield are Argent an ancient ship Azure on waves of the same issuant from base.

I admit, in 1996 I have never ever seen that city flag mentioned above. But in 1996 the city was flooded with another banner as follows:
The banner was light blue charged with ablack stickman with white "head" crowned golden and holding another white "head" by his hand. The whole flanked at fly by a white field with black inscription "HELSINGØR ´96" rotated 90° anticlockwise. To the blue part was on base was annexed a black field with centred white inscription "HAMLET" (1st line) "SOMMER" (2nd line).
Helsingør is also known as Elsinore, the location, where Shapespeare´s drama takes place. Thus the stickman is obvious. "2Π or not 2Π" ;-)
