RV "Hansa"

Name: Ruder-Verein "Hansa"
Located in: Bremen
Established: 26 July 1902
Dissolved: prior to 1906
The blue flag was parted by a white saltire with white inscriptions on every quarter as follows: "B"(top), "R"(hoist), "V"(fly) and "HANSA"(bottom). On centre were the lesser arms of Bremen and in the white canton was a red cross patty (Hanseatic cross).

Bremer RC "Hansa"

Name: Bremer Ruder-Club "Hansa" (1879/1883) e.V.
Located in: Bremen
Established: 1 May 1883
The flag is white with a red centred cross and black capital letters "B"(upper hoist), "R"(upper fly), "C" (lower hoist) and "H" (lower fly). The centre of the cross is superimposed by a red-edged white shield with a red Bremen key (coat of arms of Bremen inverted) crossed with a red oar.

Ruderverein Brema von 1883

The flag was a horizontal red-white bicolour. The white canton was charged with a white disc in a red 8-point star and displaying a red Bremen key (coat of arms of Bremen inverted).

Oberweser RV Bremen

Name: Oberweser Ruderverein Bremen
Located in: Bremen
Established: unknown
Dissolved: unknown
The flag was white parted by a red saltire. On centre was a white shield with red edges and charged with a red key of Bremen superimposed by a red oar in bend sinister, black inscriptions "O" (upper hoist), "R" (upper flat), "V" (lower hoist) and "B" (lower fly). It was a predecessor of Bremer RC Hansa and had the same flag with different letters.

Bremer Ruderverein von 1882

Name: Bremer Ruderverein von 1882 e.V.
Located in: Bremen
Established: 25 November 1882
It is a 8-stripe version of the flag of the city of Bremen with a blue canton with the white inscription "B.R.V."1st row) "v. 1882" (2nd row, a bit smaller).

The pennant is white with a rec bordure and a Hanseatic cross, i.e. a red cross patty at hoist.

Bremer DRC 1930

Name: Bremer Damen Ruder Club von 193
Located in: Bremen
Established: 1930

The flag was white, alongside hoist and top were two 5-stripes Bremen streamers, the chequered parts overlapping one another. In lower fly was a black serifed inscription: "DRC" (1st line, bigger) "1930" (2nd line). The club joined Bremer Ruderverein von 1882 after WW2.

Verein Bremer Ruderinnen von 1930

Name: Verein Bremer Ruderinnen von 1930
Located in: Bremen
Renamed: 12 January 1938
The club was the successor of Bremer DRC 1930. The flag was that one of its predecessor but different black inscription "VBR"

Bremer Sport Club Abt.Rudern

Name: Bremer Sport Club -Abteilung Rudern
Located in: Bremen
Established: 28 June 1929
The club was established as Post-Sportverein Bremen. When German mail withdraw its sponsoring, the club renamed itself on 1 January 2008.

BSC pennant (since 2008)

It is a yellow pennant, divided by a narrow horizontal dark blue line. The logo of the club is shifted to the hoist. The logo is a yellow circle cotized blue with a dark blue inscription "BSC" (sinister-bendy formation), the "S" is superimposing a dark blue key.

Post-Sportverein Bremen(1929-2007)

It is a flag divided by saltire into white and blue.. In the centre of the flag is the logo. It is the same like that one of "BSC" but having a "PSB" instead, and the figures are black.

Vegesacker Ruderverein

Name: Vegesacker Ruderverein e.V.
Located in: Bremen-Vegesack
Established: 15 December 1900
It is a white flag with a black centred cotized cross and a blue canton with a white cross patty. This flag is inspired by the imperial German naval flag. The cross is taken from the arms of Bremen's borough of Vegesack.

Verein Wassersport e.V. Vegesack

The club has a rowing and a sailing department as well. The pennant is blue with a white bordure and the white cross patty from the arms of Bremen's borough of Vegesack shifted to hoist.

Bremerhavener RV 1889

Name: Bremerhavener Ruderverein von 1889 e.V.
Located in: Bremerhaven
Established: 1 Juni 1889
It is a white flag with a red stripe at top and bottom edges. In the centre is a coat of arm. A white key in a red field (Bremen) and a white chief with a red cross patty. The shield is topped by a yellow mural crown with three torrets. The upper red stripe has a white canton with a black inscription "BRV"(1st line) and "1889"(2nd line, smaller).
The flag of Hanseatische Hochseefischerei AG, an Oetker company established in 1929, has nearly the same flag but without canton.
