Shield quartered of Gules and Argent, quarter 1 and 4 are charged with an heraldic rose Argent seeded Or.
Meaning:
All parts of the municipality were ruled by the Counts of Wertheim and after 1557 by the Counts of Castell. The quartered shield is taken from the arms of the latter, the roses from the arms of the former.
