Shield Azure, a Goddess proper, dressed Argent with blindfold of the same, holding a sword Or in her right hand and a pair of scales in her left hand.
Meaning:
The Goddess is Justitia with her usual attributes. She appeared on local stamps since the middle of the 19th century. It is supposed that a local place of execution gave the inspiration to choose Justitia. The Monastery of St. Blasien held the local cognisance since 1612, substituted by a count (German: Graf).
