Shield Gules three embowed bars Argent, in base a hammer Or and a grain ear Or in saltire.
Meaning:
The embowed bars are taken from the arms of the Lords of Weilheim, whose ancestral seat had been Wildenberg Castle near Oberhausen since 1170. The kin died out in 1318. The grain ear is symbolising agriculture, the predominat business line. The hammer is symbolising the local ironwork, which produced especial tools for agriculture. In 1865 there had been two hammer mills and a turnery in the village. Business was finished in 1904.
