Shield quartered of Or and Gules. The 2nd and 3rd quarter are plain. The 1st quarter is charged with two grain ears Gules in saltire, issuant from a triplemount Vert in base. The 4th quarter is charged with a castle Gules with two embattled towers, issuant from a triplemount Vert in base. Accoring to blazon the grain ears should be Vert.

The arms were approved on 1 July 1992 by the county administration. The banner probably had never been approved officially.
