Shield Or, on top of a mount issuant Vert parted by a saltire Argent a linden of the same having five leaves.
Meaning:
Linden and mount are representing the so called victors linden (German.: Siegerlinde) on top of the Bezelberg, a local mountain. The leaves are a representation of the settlement cores of Neustadt proper, Poppengrün, Siebhitz, Oberwinn and Neudorf. The saltire is a representation of the corossroads in Poppengrün, where the roads for salt transport between Thüringen, Böhmen, Sachsen and Bayern met one another.
