Description of current flag:
The flag's ratio is 3:5. It is a red over yellow horizontal bicolour.
Meaning:
According to Veddeler 2003, p.175 the flag is mentioned in §2(1) of Hauptsatzung der Stadt Lünen, 29 November 1999. The colours are taken fom the coat of arms. The flag had not been approved officially.
