Shield Gules, a lion rampant Argent, holding a Latin cross patty Argent in his forepaws.
Meaning:
The lion is taken from the arms of the Counts of Dillingen. In 1143 a big farm and one quarter of the local church were bestowed on the monastery of Anhausen upon Brenz. Thus the lion bears a cross. The cross is also alluding to the Collegiate of Wiesensteig, which gained the patronage over the local church by Emperor Ludwig the Bavarian in 1330.

The arms were approved on 21 February 1955 by Minister of Interior of Baden-Württemberg, published in GABl 109/1955. The banner was approved on 1 October 1984 by the county administration, published in GABl 402/1985.
