Shield parted enhanced per fess embattled, in chief plain Or, in base Gules a fleur-de-lis Or.
Meaning:
The municipality was denoted as "oppidum" in 1343. The fortification of a walled city never came to being. The partition line is alluding to these efforts. The fleur-de-lis is representing the Lordship of Albeck, part of the County of Werdenberg, to which the municipality belonged. Ulm acquired the lordship in 1383. Estates of the Herbrechtingen Abbey in the municipality became a dominion of Ulm in 1607. Red had been the tincture of the Counts of Werdenberg, golden (yellow) that one of the abbey.

The arms were approved on 21 February 1955 by Minister of Interior of Baden-Württemberg, published in GABl 109/1955. The banner was approved on 25 July 1984 by the county administration, published in GABl 402/1985.
