Shield Gules with bordure Argent, a dove Argent.
Meaning:
The dove without bordure was introduced in 1946, shortly after the end of WW2 being a symbol of peace. The tinctures had been those of the Margraves of Burgau and their successors, the Counts of Werdenberg-Sargans, rulers of the Lordship of Albeck, to which Ballendorf belonged. The lordship was sold to the city of Ulm in 1383.
