Shield Or chapé embowed Gules, charged in base with a 6-fold mount Sable, in dexter chief with two arrows Argent in saltire and in sinister chief with a fimbriated cross patty Argent.
Meaning:
Stetten belonged to the Lordship of Mindelheim. The 6-fold mountain, actually two connected triplemounts in pale, is taken from the arms of the Lords of Frundsberg, who owned the lordship between 1467 and 1586. The arrows are an attribute of St. Sebastian, patron saint of Stetten. The cross is an attribute of St. Ulrich of Augsburg, patron saint of the church of Erisried. The cross is also representing that village.
