Shield Vert a bend sinister wavy Argent, over all a sword flambant Or in bend.
Meaning:
The bend sinister wavy is representing the Gaißach, the name giving creek. The partition is also symbolising the former division between Obergaißach (upper) and Untergaißach (lower). The green colour is symbolising the rural character. The flaming sword is an attribute of St. Michael, the local patron saint. The parish church had great importance as one of the oldest baptisteries for the complete "Isarwinkel", a region around a corner of the Isar River (see: German WIKIPEDIA).
