Shield parted per chevron embowed abased, above Argent a pair of ram's horns Gules, beneath Azure a fleur-de-lis Argent, chief Gules plain.
Meaning:
The red chief and the partition per chevron embowed are taken from the family arms oft he Lords of Iring. They founded Eurasburg and the Augustine Beuerberg Abbey. They had been local rulers and reeves of the abbey. They died out in the 14th century. The horns are the heraldic symbol of the Thorer kin of Hornstein. They succeeded the Iring kin between 1322 and 1609. The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of St Mary. She was patron saint of the chapel at the local graveyard, which later became a parish church. It was a place of pilgrimage and adoration of St. Mary until 1803. The blue colour in base is representing the Loisach River.
