Shield quartered, 1st quarter Gules three natural lilies Or superimposed by a barrulet wavy Argent, 2nd quarter Argent parted by a facetted cross Sable, 3rd quarter Argent a plough Sable, 4th quarter Gules three ears Or.
Meaning:
The water lilies are canting, the name of the municipality is derived from "field of lilies". The black cross is referring to Fulda Abbey, to which the village was donated by King Arnulf. The donation was proven by a document of King Ludwig the Child. The 3rd and 4th quarters are referring to the rural character.
