Shield parted per fess, above Or an attire Sable, beneath Azure a postal horn Or with laces Gules.
Meaning:
The upper half displays the family arms of the Barons of Poißl in Loifling, who ruled the local district (Bavarian: Hofmark) between 1756 and 1830. The ownership of the districts of Stallwang and Haunkenzell had been connected by personal union since 1550. The horn is referring to the local coaching inn of the Barons of Thurn and Taxis, which was replaced by a coach line between Straubing and Stallwang in the 20th century. It had been the first connection by bus in Niederbayern.

The banner has never been approved officially. The arms were approved on 2 July 1958 by Minister of Interior of Bayern.
