Shield Vert a fleur-de-lis Or; mantled, at dexter Azure two bends Argent, at sinister Argent parted by a Latin cross Gules.
Meaning:
The bends are representing the Knights of Steinach. The cross is streesing the great economic and cultural influence of the Collegiate Church of St. Tiburtius in the former Municipality of Münster. The institution was transferred to Straubing St. Jakob in 1581. The fleur-de-lis is representing the Chapter of Augsburg, which owned large estates in Steinach and especially in Agendorf. The green colour is symbolising the location between Bavarian Forest and the plains alongside the Donau (Danube). It is also referring to the local greenland seedes cell cultures, which exist since 1920.
