Shield Gules a bend wavy Argent, above left a fleur-de-lis Or, beneath right a millstone Or.
Meaning:
The bend wavy on a red shield is a differentiation of the arms of the Bishopric of Regensburg. The bishopric itself and some of the abbeys in the city had been important manorial lords. The bend wavy is furthermore alluding to the location on the banks of the Kleine Laaber, a river. The millstone is referring to the economic importance of watermills alongside the river. The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of Our Lady of Assumption, the local patron saint.
