Description of coat of arms:
The green shield is divided by two golden bendlets. Between the bendlets are three mandrels of the same colour.
Meaning:
Recommended by the Archive Directorate Stuttgart the municipality adopted on 6 November 1924 a simplified version of the arms of the Counts of Achalm. The golden stars were omitted (see also flag of Reutlingen County). The mandrels are symbolizing the local textiles industry.
