Description of coat of arms:
The blue shield is divided by two golden (= yellow) bends sinister (or four times divided per bend sinister into blue and gold. The silver (= white) chief is superimposed by a black attire.
Meaning:
The main field is alluding to the Lords of Gomadingen. The attire in a silver field is symbolizing that the municipality. Like e.g. Münsingen belonged to Old Württemberg

The banner was approved on 25 May 1982 by the county administration, published in GABl 560/1983. The coat of arms was approved on 27 February 1948 by minister of interior of Württemberg-Hohenzollern.
