Meaning:
The sinister half displays the arms of the Bishopric of Regensburg, the dexter half those of the Benedictine Niederaltaich Monastery. The region around the village had been a property of the family of Bishop Sigirich of Regensburg (762 - 768), who donated the Muntrihhingas Estate with all its belongings to the monastery.
