Kirchberg Coat of Arms

Shield Or a branch raguly Gules in bend and a crozier´s head of the same in bend sinister, issuant from base a triplemount Vert.
Meaning:
The green triplemount in a golden field displays the arms of the Benedictine Niederaltaich Abbey, the most important manorial lord until its secularisation in 1803. Another manorial lord had been its Rinchnach Provostry. The branch is taken from the arms of the Leutzenrieder family and is also representing the many kins of noblemen, who held real estates and the low level cognisance in the districts (Bavarian: Hofmarken) of Zell, Höllmannsried and Kleinloitzenried. The existence of the Loitzenrieder kin is proven by documents of the abbey between the middle of the 13th century and the middle of the 15th century. The crozier is an attribute of St. Godehard of Hildesheim, the local patron saint.

Both banners according to the municipality have never been approved officially. The banner in Bavarian colours had been in use at least until 2018. The arms were approved on 4 February 1980 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Niederbayern.
