Shield Argent with base Vert, charged with a fess wavy Argent, topped by three alders Vert in fess.
Meaning:
The canting arms are based on a court seal from the 17th century, already displaying three black elders (Latin: Alnus glutinosa / German also: Else) wth a fess wavy, representing a creek (German: Bach). The seal was forgotten and revived as coat of arms in 1972.
