Shield Gules a forb issuant Vert blossomed by seven fleur-de-lis Argent.
Meaning:
The Burgraves of Dohna built a local castle around 1200. A settlement was added below, which was called a city in 1286. Karl Adolf of Karlowitz, owner of the local castle, meanwhile called Kuckuckstein, fought against Napoleon I in 1813 as leader of the Banner of Saxonian Volunteers. The arms are based on an architectural sculpture in the local church and since then on various city seals. The fleur-de-lis are taken from the arms of the owners of Bünau Castle.
