The Haseldorf Marsh is located on the northern bank of Elbe river, right west of the city of Wedel. The subcounty of haseldorf has three municipalitiesw.

It is a blue over white over red horizontal tricolour, i.e. the civil flag of Schleswig-Holstein, superimposed by the municipal coat of arms.

The silver (= white) shield is divided by a light blue fess wavy, which is placed between three hazelnuts in natural colour ordered 2:1. The hazelnuts are reddish brown and barbed green.
Meaning:
The arms are canting, meaning hazelnut bushes in a water meadow.

The coat of arms was approved on 17 January 1990. Probably the flag never had been approved officially.

Shield Argent; two eradicated knotted willows Vert; base wavy Azure, charged with three chess flowers issuant ordered per fess chequered of Gules and Argent with stem and leaf Argent.
Meaning:
The willows are representing an old craft, as the local people in the past produced barrel hoops made of osier stakes. The base wavy id representing Elbe River. The chess flowers (Latin: Fritillaria meleagris) belong to a very rare kind of lilies in that area. Their petals are indeed coloured like chessboards.
