Remchingen Coat of Arms

Shield Gules, two staffs Argent in saltire, each one topped by a fleur-de-lis Argent, over all in centre an inescutcheon Argent, charged with a heraldic rose Gules, seeded Azure and barbed Vert.
Meaning:
On 1 January 1973 the municipalities of Singen and Wilferdingen merged. Two years later the municipality of Nöttingen was incorporated. The new municipality adopted the name of the formerly dissolved municipality of Remchingen. Its arms had been before those of Wilferdingen. The arms are combining elements of former rulers: the Lords of Remchingen, represented by the staffs in saltire, the Counts of Eberstein, represented by the red rose in a silver field, and the Lords of Roßwag, also represented by a rose. Before the Margraves of Baden gained all the local privileges since the end of the 13th century, the Counts of Eberstein ruled the village directly or as liege lords of the Remchingen and Roßwag kin.

Banner and arms were approved on 4 November 1976 by the county administration, published in GABl 312/1977. The arms were adopted first by former Wilferdingen municipality in 1901.
