Renaissance shield parted by a triplemount, above Or a fir Vert, beneath Azure a lower demi-millwheel Or.
Meaning:
The basic tinctures are those of Bayern, as the village belonged to Bayern for more than 400 years. Duke Albrecht V of Bayern acquired Halblech together with the Lordship of Schwangau in 1567. The triplemount is symbolising the local landscape. The fir is symbolising forestall riches. The millwheel is representing the many local sawmills alongside the Halblech River.
