Description of current flag:
The flag's ratio is 3:5. It is a black - yellow - black horizontal triband with ratio 1:3:1.The coat of arms is in the centre of the flag.

Description of coat of arms:
In a black shield are two crossed golden(=yellow) antlers. Between its ends are nine shingles of the same colour. In the centre of the arms is a man trap of the same colour.
Meaning:
According to source the antlers are symbolizing the lots of deer in the surrounding forests, the man trap is symbolizing agriculture (it was said to be a weapon aginst witchcraft and misfortune in the early middle ages). The shingles are taken from the arms of the 13th century lords of Hundem.
