Shield Sable, a bucket wheel Argent with four spokes in saltire, over all an inescutcheon Azure charged with hammer and mallet Argent, chief parted per fess wavy of Azure and Argent.
Meaning:
Wheel, hammer and mallet are referring to brown coal mining in the area.

Shield parted per pale; at dexter Azure, a parchment Argent, charged with a fleur-de-lis Or fimbriated Azure; at sinister Argent three bends Gules.
Meaning:
The fleur-de-lis had been the watermark of the papers made by the local papermill. It also appears on the arms of Otto of Köckritz, who had the fiefdom over the village in the 13th century.
