Shield Azure a gonfanon Gules fringed Or, superimposed by a fleur-de-lis Or, issuant from base a triplemount Vert.
Meaning:
The gonfanon is taken from the arms of the Counts of Montfort, local rulers from 1311 until the 16th century. The triplemount is symbolising the location of the municipality between 1044m and 1685m above sea level, the green tincture to alp herding, a typical local business line. The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of St. Anthony, the local patron saint.
