Under a chief wavy Argent parted per chevronel reversed Or, above Azure a millwheel Sable surrounded by five bezants, beneath parted by a pale Or, at dexter Sable a crancelin Or, at sinister Gules two bends sinister Argent.
Meaning:
The municipality has five settlement cores: Leibi, Oberfahlheim, Straß, Unterfahlheim and Nersingen proper. The crancelin is taken from the arms of Elchingen Imperial Abbey. The abbey owned large estates and established a district (German: Amt) in Oberpfahlheim. Pale and bends sinister are a differentiation of the amrs of the Margraviate of Burgau, to which Nersingen historically belonged. The pale furthermore is symbolising a Roman road, crossing the municipality. The millwheel is symbolising the many watermills of Roth and Leibi. Paddles and bezants are symbolising the five settlement cores. The chief wavy is representing the rivers Danube, Roth, Leibi and Biber, all crossing the municipality.

The arms were approved on 20 May 1983 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Schwaben.
