Shield Gules an embattled tower Argent, flanked at dexter by a fleur-de-lis Or stemmed and leafed of the same and at sinister by a mitre Or.
Meaning:
All elements are referring to the Premonstratensian Speinshart Monastery. Its arms displayed a white tower on a red shield. The tower appeared first in 1522 on a seal of Abbot Conrad of Wichsenstein. The abbey had been founded around 1245 by the Lords of Reifenberg. In 1661 an image of St. Mary as patron saint was added to the arms due to the restitution of the abbey. Since the 18th century she held a fleur-de-lis, one of her attributes, with stem and leaves by her right hand. The dexter charge is a differentiation of this part of the arms of the abbey. The mitre as attribute of an abbot is stressing the current and historical importance of the abbey, which had been resettled by Premonstratensians in 1921.
