It is a banner barry-bendy of white and blue. The coat of arms is shifted towards the top, flanked by centred black serifed inscriptions "Gemeinde" (above) and "Schlammersdorf" (below).

Shield parted per fess, above Sable a lion passant Or, beneath Or three fleur-de-lis Azure ordered 2:1.
Meaning:
The municipality adopted the arms of marriage of Hans Georg Knott and his consort from 1600, which can be seen in the local castle. The family had its seat in Schlammersdorf between 1563 and 1630. The arms are also representing the kins of noblemen, holding rights in the estates of Schlammersdorf, Ernstfeld, Menzlas and Naslitz.

The banner has never been approved officially. The arms were approved on 31 August 1984 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Oberpfalz.
