Shield parted per fess, above Argent a lion passant guardant Sable armed and tongued Gules, beneath Sable a potato blossom Argent.
Meaning:
The lion is taken from the family arms of the Barons of Pletten, who acquired the Niederarnbach District (Bavarian: Hofmark), which was extensively congruent with the area of the current municipality. The family since 1665 also owned the area of Hohenried, which was incorporated into Brunnen in 1978. The family had the local sovereign rights and the local cognisance until 1848.The blossom is symbolising the local cultivation of potatoes.
