Nordvorpommern is the region between Rostock and Greifswald. Its flag is a banner of arms at this webpage.

Split blue [hoist] and gold [fly], a golden griffin in blue and a black griffin in gold. The flag is taken from the county website with some trivial changes. Ratio 2:3. The griffins represent the previous lordships of Barth and Rostock. Flag adopted 3 December.1997.
