Shield Or, two keys Gules in saltire, superimposed by a sword Azure in pale.
Meaning:
The keys are attributes of St. Peter and are taken from the arms of the Benedictine Wessobrunn Abbey, which owned large estates in the village between 1141 and 1803. The sword is an attribute of St. Martin, the local patron saint. The sword is also symbolising the military environment of the municipality, especially an airbase, established in 1934, restored by the US Airforce after 1945 and given to the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) in 1957.
