It is a yellow - red vertical bicolour. The coat of arms is shifted to the top.

Description of coat of arms:
The red shield is divided by a golden (= yellow) bend sinister. Above right is a plough of the same colour, below left is a cogwheel of the same colour.
Meaning:
The bend is symbolizing a dam (Damm = Tamm), a canting element. Plough and cogwheel are symbolizing agriculture and industry respectively. The colours are taken from the arms of the Counts of Asperg, who ruled the village for a long time. The old boundary stones only used the initials of the village, the later seals only displayed the arms of Württemberg.

Banner and coat of arms were approved on 8 April 1980 by the county administration, published in GABl 230/1981. Similar arms had been approved in 1924.
