Description of coat of arms:
In a silver (= white) shield on top of a green hill, superimposed by a silver (= white) fess wavy, is a green grapevine clasping a green pale with three bluish purple bunches of grape.
Meaning:
The fess wavy is symbolizing the Neckar River. The hill is symbolizing the Umlaufberg, a vineyard near the Hambach creek. The village is located at the foot of that vineyard. The grapevine is symbolizing the cultivation of wine. The arms are derived from deals of the market town, which are known since 1710.
