Shield parted per pale, at dexter Argent a sinister facing griffin rampant couchant Gules, at sinister Gules a naked man Argent holding a lance of the same in bend sinister.
Meaning:
Griffin and man are taken from the family arms of the Hiltrich kin, who named themselves due to their hometown as Lords of Varell. They ruled the village during six generations. They died out in 1765. In the family arms the naked man had been however reguardant.
