Meaning:
The well (German: Brunnen) standing on a meadow (German: Wiese), represented by the green base, together are canting. Wiesenbrunn had been a possession of the Burgraves of Nürnberg since around 1360 and later of the Margraves of Brandenbrug-Ansbach, the latter being manorial lords of half the village since 1534. Black and white are the colours of both former rulers from the Zollern kin.
