Shield parted by a pale wavy Argent, at dexter abased parted per fess dancetty of Gules and Argent with three points and in chief a scallop Argent, at sinister Vert an initial "H" Argent connected with a number "4" of the same in chief and a sinister bendy beech leaf Argent in base.
Meaning:
The pale wavy is a representation of the name giving Sinn River. The river is the border between the forests Spessart and Rhön. The line of partition shows a Franconian rake and is alluding to the Bishopric of Würzburg, which ruled the village for centuries. The scallop is an attribute of St. James the Elder, the local patron saint. Leaf and green colour are symbolising the rural character of the municipality, the meadows and the beech groves. The house mark, i.e. initial and number, is symbolising the condominion of four rulers, which was established in 1447 and dissolved in the 19th century (see also Aura in Sinngrund).
