Meaning:
The eagle is derived from the arms of the Bishopric of Brixen and alluding to the fact that King Heinrich II donated his Tiginga Estate to the bishopric in 1002. The bishopric remained the manorial lord in the village until 1803, which is represented by the crozier. The cross is the attribute of St. George, patron saint of the Prüfening Monastery in Regensburg, which also owned large estates in the village.

The banner has never been approved officially. The arms were approved on 7 January 1969 by Minister of Interior of Bayern.
