It is a banner lozengy of white and blue. The coat of arms is shifted towards the top in a circular shield fimbriated golden with a black circumscription "Gemeinde" (above) and "Biburg" (beneath).

Shield Gules a church Argent with two towers and roofs Azure, in dexter chief an inescutcheon parted per fess of Argent and Azure and charged with three heraldic roses seeded Or ordered 2:1 in counterchanged tinctures.
Meaning:
The arms display the local Romanic basilica, the local landmark. The inescutcheon displays the apocryphal arms of the Counts of Sittling, founders and reeves of the Benedictine Biburg Abbey, originally a double abbey, having a monastery and a nunnery. The arms were designed by Otto Hupp.

The banner has never been approved officially. The arms were approved on 3 January 1933 by Minister of Interior of Bayern.
