Shield parted per pale, at dexter Sable a lion rampant Or, at sinister Or with base Vert, issuant from base a birch proper.
Meaning:
The sinister half is canting, because the suffix "-hardt" is alluding to a wood, more precisely to a pasture in a wood. Colours and lion on the dexter half are reminding on the Staufen kin, rulers in the middle ages. In 1927 the municipality had adopted a similar coat of arms. The dexter half had been like nowadays. The sinister half however displayed in black a lion rampant guardant Argent, holding an inescutcheon Argent, charged with two lions passant guardant Sable in pale. The dexter half of the former arms had reminded on the Hohenlohe kin, who ruled the area from 1416 until the 19th century.
