Shield parted per fess, above Or three eradicated deciduous trees Vert in fess, beneath Azure a watermill's wheel Or with 16 paddles.
Meaning:
In the village existed several watermills. One of them is still existing, being a paper mill until 1855 and an active grain mill until 1952, now just being a monument. The trees are alluding to the surrounding groves, being a recreation area for the local people.

Shield parted per fess wavy, above Azure a crane volant Argent, bneath Azure a watermill's wheel Azure.
Meaning:
The line of partition is representing local waters, the Ziese River, the Kamnezbach Creek and Dänischer Wiek, a lagoon. The millwheel is representing crafts, especially millers and their watermills. The crane is referring to a sanctuary for birds.

Meaning:
The dexter half is symbolising the maritime character of the municipality, the pine the local groves on the cliffs.

Shield Vert, issuant form base an octagonal church spire Argent, topped by a weather cock Or on a ball of the same, at dexter an impending cooper's mallet Or in pale, at sinister an impending grain ear Or in pale.
Meaning:
The spire is part of the local church and a landmark for seafarers. The mallet is representing crafts, especially coopers, and the ear is representing agriculture.
