Description of coat of arms:
Shield Azure, an abased bar wavy Argent; above an impending inescutcheon Azure, fimbriated Or and charged with two wooden keys, pointing outward, in pale, in orle 10 trefoils Argent.
Meaning:
The wooden keys are taken from the family arms of the Lords of Rosdorf. The bar wavy is representing Leine River. The trefoils are representing the settlement cores of the municipality.
